BARRY CHESLER

Barry S. Chesler is the Publisher of Trimark Press, an independent boutique book publisher located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Prior to establishing Trimark in 2003, in 1988, Chesler was a founder and president of E-Z Legal/Made E-Z Products, a publishing company that provided pre-printed legal and business related products to the office product and book store markets. E-Z grew to become the largest provider of pre-published legal and business related products for laymen use in the US.

Always recognizing the need to “give back,” he has been involved in various community activities. He was elected to serve a four-year term on the West Hartford, Connecticut Board of Education where he ultimately became Vice Chairman. He has served as an executive member of the board for the Hebrew Home and Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut and currently serves as a Life Member of that board. Early in his career, he was elected as a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), which provides education and idea exchange between company presidents. Chesler has also served as a member of the education advisory committee for the City of Boca Raton, Florida and is a member of the One Hundred Club of South County, an organization providing aid to the families of police or fire personnel injured or killed in the line of duty.

LORIE GREENSPAN

TriMark Publishing Director Lorie Greenspan spent a career in journalism before changing professions following a move to Florida in 2015.

Working as a beat reporter, then as a newspaper editor for a large group of family owned weekly newspapers in Central New Jersey where she won numerous awards, Lorie opted for a new career path and worked briefly in public relations before returning to college and receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Rutgers University in 2001. At the same time she was editor and writer for an international business and industry magazine, which she remained affiliated with for more than a decade. She returned to the news industry in 2010, and in 2015 left journalism for good when she moved to Florida and took the position with TriMark.

Lorie has published numerous articles on topics ranging from aerospace and food to culture and interior design in addition to poetry, opinion pieces, short stories, and feature magazine articles. Having participated in groups such as the Florida Writers Association, Fantasy and Science Fiction Writers, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, she is currently trying to decide which of the many books she is working on to bring to fruition and publish.

Working in independent book publishing has enabled her to help give voice to writers who would otherwise not have a chance to see their work in print.

Favorite quote from former news boss: “You make your own way in this world. No one is going to make it for you.”
