Natosha is not your typical NBA wife. After marrying her high-school sweetheart, Keyon Dooling, she set out to dispel the negative perceptions that can accompany that title. This was nothing new for Natosha, who has fought stereotypes and misperceptions throughout her life, beginning with the harassment and bullying she endured because of her hazel eyes, fair skin, and sandy-blond hair.
Raised in a low-income Fort Lauderdale neighborhood, Natosha navigated her youth with quiet determination and abiding faith. Later came a new set of challenges, including frequent relocations, relationship difficulties, unfavorable media scrutiny, the loss of loved ones, and a devastating miscarriage.
Natosha founded N-Zone to provide college scholarships and character development for disadvantaged young women through etiquette instruction, job training, and college-preparation courses. In each of her projects, her goal is to pay it forward by helping others and representing the love, charity, and values shared by many people associated with professional sports.
