Edward N. Port

Edward grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from the University of Miami School of Business in 1990 with a B.B.A. in real estate and finance. He then attended the University of Michigan and graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. His first job was as a prosecutor with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. He later entered private practice, representing major creditors including Ford Motor Credit, GMAC, and AutoNation.

Today, as head of The Port Law Firm, he represents individuals and businesses in asset protection and wealth-preservation planning. Mr. Port also represents clients seeking bankruptcy relief and implements out-of-court debt workouts and restructuring through debt adjustment.
