Mona Pearl

Mona Pearl

Mona Pearl is a mother and grandmother who has been telling and writing stories for children for the last forty years. In the late 1980s, Mona volunteered at New York University Hospital every week for five years, reading to ill children and sharing stories of her own.

Her love of children drew her to attend the Highlights conference in Chautauqua, New York, where she enjoyed meeting many prominent authors of children’s literature. In 2012, she decided to write the journey of her life, It’s Not Over Yet, which she shared on radio and television throughout the country.

While searching through her files, Mona realized she had written more than thirty stories for children. After sharing many of them with her grandson’s teacher years earlier, she knew it was time to have the stories printed and published for children everywhere to enjoy.
