Two Wars

My first war was in Vietnam. The second occurred when I came home and fought battles on the streets of Atlanta dealing and using drugs. A hippie of the late 60s and early 70s, I was a kid who was nervous and excited when I was drafted, witnessed horrors as a helicopter gunner in some of the toughest arenas in ’Nam, and returned to a home that was no longer the same.

This true and honest recount of my life tells the ultimate experience of what it was like fighting, and then returning from a war no one wanted. Everything you’ve heard is true. I know. I lived it.
