Javier Ferrea

Javier, fluent in both Spanish and English, brings with him an extensive background of professional experience. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ferrea moved to the United States with his family in 1978. Besides holding an Airline Transport Pilot license with multiple aircraft Type Ratings and being Flight Safety, Bombardier, and Simuflite trained, he has more than 6,900 hours of domestic and international flight experience in a variety of sophisticated aircraft.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Zero Eight Papa Aviation Services, Ferrea is an active member of the Latin American aviation community, simultaneously managing aircraft and flight departments in multiple countries in South America.

Ferrea is at the forefront of his profession, keeping current on international aviation laws and governing agencies such as the FAA, JAA, CAA, and DAC. A current NBAA “Pilot Safety Award” recipient, Ferrea is also an active participant in the FAA “Wings Program,” adding efficiency and safety to Fortune 500 corporations’ flight operations.

Ferrea is dedicated to keeping Zero Eight Papa Aviation at the top of the information and technology age, attending numerous international and domestic aviation seminars, trade shows, and events throughout the year.

Ferrea is a contributing author to industry publications such as Professional Pilot. A distinguished business leader in his community, he is also involved in the rotable parts business and is an active participant at FERREA RACING COMPONENTS. Javier Ferrea and Zero Eight Papa Aviation Services also lead annual donation efforts for UNICEF to contribute much-needed aid for children around the world.
