Gary Rose

Gary Rosenzweig was born in 1946 in Racine, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1968. He worked in the schools of Bedford-Stuyesant, Brooklyn before being drawn to Jamaica in 1970. There, he became a member of the Ethiopian Zion Coptic Church. After Jamaica, he worked as a youth counselor for many years. He continues to abide by the precepts of his faith, and was featured in the documentary “Square Grouper”. He currently resides in South Florida.
